Living on campus and purchasing a meal plan supports student success. Use of meal plans helps build community; support the living-learning environment and respond to student identified need for longer dining facility hours, and improved services. If you are eating in the "all-you-care-to-eat" location frequently, meal plans will give you a significant savings over using cash. We have a variety of different plans available that offer the flexibility of meals and Crusader Cash Dollars together. Please check out the "Meal Plan" link.
How do I access my meal plan?
Your meal plan will automatically be on your NNU Student ID Card once purchased or the semester starts whichever is later.
When can I start using my meal plan?
Meal plans for the 2006-2007 academic year will be available for use at the beginning of the fall 2006 semester or when residence halls open.
How long do I have to use my "Meals"?
"Meals per Semester" meals expire after residence halls close after the last day of finals for each contracted semester.
What happens if I run out of "Meals"?
The Platinum & Gold Plans will not allow you to run out of meals. They allow for access throughout the academic year. If a "meals per semester" plan is being used it would be suggested to upgrade to the next plan the following semester. In the meantime additional Crusader Cash Dollars may be purchased to pay for "meals".
May I use my meal plan to buy food for others?
The Platinum Plan is only for the student themselves and cannot be used for other guests. Any of the block plans or the Gold plan may be used to pay for another person. Crusader Cash Dollars, Flex Dollars or cash may also be used to pay for another person.
